@LastRqss You can hear that there's actually a backing track when satoshi's not singing, so probably they're playing over a soft track. Probably thats why he needs monitors.

why do drummers wear headphones

well...theres many reasons for some drummers to wear headphones. To play along or stay in sync to the tempo(for those much complex songs). Y'know a click track. And other times its used as ear muffs, don't want your ears to bleed lol. I also heard that it's used so they can hear over their own playing...I guess moniters :/. Hope this helps.
