MADE IN L.A.
L.A. Contemporary Dance Company with Sonos and BODYTRAFFIC
Fri. June 18, 2010 at 8:30 p.m.
Three LA-based companies bring their dynamism and zest to the Ford stage in two dramatic works of dance theatre. In January 2009, BODYTRAFFIC premiered Transfigured Night and won the LA Times praise for every performance element. Night, by Israeli choreographers Guy Weizman and Roni Haver and set to the rapturous Arnold Schönberg score of the same name, will be revived at the Ford, alongside LACDCs premiere of Gods and Marionettes, a multi-disciplinary work inspired by the Greek tragedy, Electra. Choreographer Kate Hutter, theatre director David Bridel and a cappella group SONOS collaborate to contemporize this haunting piece.

Sweet dancing.
Shine a bright light at the dancers until they sparkle.
This is exactly what is done for each interview session in this video.
Dancers dancing should be well lighted too.
