the people that dont dress punk are actually more punk that the punks because they dont have to wear a uniform to listen to the music. punk is a feeling not a look. and music is music listen to what you like and not for anyone else

@freedomspeechez I'm not really familiar with these punk idealistics you speak of; but I'd say hippies have fought more of a 'war' towards world peace than punks have. I mean Hippies practically invented protesting during the vietnam war, thirteen of them got shot down in Ohia for it even. Hell I'm no hippie though, not really a punk either, just a regular guy. I just think theirs too much hatred towards hippies in the punk culture considering how godamn similar they are.

@dairylandbogurt its the thought process between the 2. hippies and punks both want world peace and equality the only differance is that punks understand you cant get peace without removing those in power, and that requires a war, eather or not anone likes it its the simple truth.

@Bonerjams98 youve got a point to a degree, but just because you dress sterotypical punk dont mean youre any less punk, maybe if ur like me or talot of others you jsut like the look. theres no reason ur less punk if u dress like that and ur not less if you dont. punk is an attitude and a life, evreyone needs to get along regardless of dress, dont matter enjoy the music and thats all that needs to be said

I don't get why there's such a wedge between hippies and punks... I mean they both hate the government, hate big corporations. The only real difference is the way they dress, and that hipppies smoke to much pot so they seem kind of idiotic
