2004 Volvo XC90 Cabin Air Filter Replacement instructions. This is a simple procedure, and should be done every 6 to 8 months. Check your owner's manual, depending on your climate and air quality this procedure may need to be sooner than 6-8 months or you might be able to go longer. This is the cabin air filter and not the engine air filter.

  • Great video! Worked like a champ. Thanks a bunch! I have a 2006 XC90, and the procedure was the same. One comment I wanted to make was the filter goes in just a little bit easier if you remove the mud mat/carpet. Also, mine had two filters in it, but the reference to the slanted line is the same for both filters. If you have or wish to replace both filters, people should note that the two filters (front and back) are not the same.

  • @TheQman2009 Thank you for the comment and for watching! I am glad the video helped, and thank you for the info on the dual filter setup, I am glad you were able to get your switched out! Thanks again for commenting!

  • Amazing Video, my friend. Good well done. I feel confident that I can change my own 2007 XC90 cabin filer now. God Bless, you.

  • @Bdoggnc78 This is the sole reason I video my repairs. Thank you for the wonderful words, I am glad this video helped. And I am glad I have met a fellow Volvo XC90 owner, God bless you too. Thank you for watching and for the comment!
