  • I think today, you'd be lucky even to get a "banquet on a bun"

  • Remember when north american flights still offered realy meals? Now you're lucky if they give you peanuts

  • i still get real food on the airlines i go ( delta )

  • @Spyco you can't even get that, because of allergies. pretzels.

  • ahhhh the good old days when you had good meals on planes

  • I was lucky enough to have flown on Alaska when they served real food, back in the 90s, back when they had the awesome MD-80. It was between San Francisco and Seattle; ten years later I'd fly between San Jose and Seattle and would just get a little thing of ice cream.

Last time I flew Alaska, it was just snack mix and Coke Zero between Fairbanks and Seattle. But the flight attendant was nice enough to let me have more when I wanted it.

  • What's ironic, is my flight on Alaska Airlines last week, they served the banquet on a bun...for $7.00

  • I didn't know that airlines served food like that back then.

  • mashed patato and gravy looks good

  • Wow, love the old 727 in this ad.

  • @cepart I like it!
