On September 4th, 2011, I followed an invitation of the Austrian "Life Ministry" (Lebensministerium) to their annual sustainability-party (Nachhaltigkeitsfest). Dennis Meadows, whose report to the Club of Rome had given a strong impetus to the environmental movement, was to give a speech there.
Waiting to be let in I started to chat with Graziano CEDDIA who had arrived with me and I found out that he is teaching Ecological Economics at the Modul University in Vienna.
When Dennis Meadows focussed on the term resilience in his talk -- a term I was not familiar with -- I decided to ask Graziano to explain it to me.
