When there were genocides in Campudia and Rwanda, the UN, the west and the US just stood by watching millions innocent people slaugthered and this is the so called human rights? Yes, communism is an efficient way to throw out invaders (French or US in VN), because it can oblige the whole population to fight.
The problems come when the war is finished, because communism leads to corruption, to economic inefficiency.
Then the surviving heroess only goal is to keep their power over the frightened populations, with the help of their police, and with propaganda

Please keep in mind that corruption is much worse than the invaders.

If americans believed in freedom why did they support the colonists in the first Indochina war??? If they believe in democracy why did they block the free election. Why supported Ngo DInh Diem - a colonist lapdog?? Why supported Pol Pot??
