When I touch the light to the alarm it doesn't light up the light. Do you know what I'm doing wrong

what i did is i put some tape on the wires so they did not tuch then i put the l e d even farther in to the highlighter so it glows even more i the highlighter

loI got one of these tiny alarms somewhere Might hack it into something. I have a combo alarm/light that i got at the dollar store that I might mod into something. I want to record the alarm sound to my computer as a .wav file but i dont want to fry my line input on my sound card just for that.

@dragdus the light only goes on when the flag pops up that is what the magnet is for watch the video called ice fishing on my page to see this in action.

Hey there. Great little invention. I bought the supplies from the dollar store and the window alarm is the same one. When I take it apart and attach the led to the wires it will not light up. If I touch it to the batteries it's fine. It seems like the power is not getting through the circut board. Any thoughts?

is there a switch on the side? I know that sounds dumb but some don't have an on off switch and they drain realy fast other than that I would try another alarm make sure you remove the wires from the speaker that sometimes drains the power too hope that helps.
