  • HD's are vastly overrated, overpriced, and over-valued. I know from owning one. If you want to spend $20k+ to make yourself feel macho on two wheels, you're a moron. The whole "HD badass" attitude is a fluke from advertising like this..

  • I've ridden them all. Yes, when I was younger & crazy speed was all I wanted. I loved my KZ1000, ZX1200 & Katana. All Bad ass bikes @ the time . I am "old". I've been there & done that. I really don't care about doing 170 mph anymore. I don't care to drag my knee in the turns. Bones heal slow once you hit 40!! I like my heavy & slow 03 Road King. I get 50 mpg on the highway, plenty of power. Whatever you ride, remember why you bought a bike in the first place. Just keep the shiny side up! Peace.

  • What is with all the respect crap? Is that HD's new thing, if you ride a pos Harley that you automatically get respect? Makes me laugh that HD now markets the biker image like it was their idea, when back in the 60's when Easyrider came out HD wanted nothing to do with the biker image, now it seems to be their thing, I have little respect for any HD rider,

  • What song is it?

  • @AngryFlagman I think I'd stay away from the Ducati. Maintence cost on that is as bad as a beemer. Suzuki V-Storm is a decent bike as is the Triumph.

  • @outlawracer2229 - Im thinking of going with a V-Strom 1000 or Triumph Tiger or may be a Ducati Multi Strada. I have tried trading the Beemer in but Blue Book is $2000 less than what I owe. I had a C50 Boulevard before but I didnt quite fit on it. I had a 06 Vulcan 1500 but it had some issues with air in the oil lines. The dealer saw me comming and said hey come look at this Beemer........( under breath......SUCKER). Now its all mine $1200 oil changes and all.

  • @AngryFlagman No thanks! LOL Take it down and trade it in. Test ride a few brands and styles and see what you like best. Don't just go by advertising. Look at non-bias reviews. I prefer touring style with a touch of cruiser. To me the Suzuki Boulevard fits the bill. A Yamaha V-Star, Kawasaki Vulcan or Honda VTX would be my other choices.

  • @outlawracer2229 - You really want an empty wallet, Buy a Beemer. I havent had a spare dollar to my name since I bought mine......... So can I intrest you in a 2003 K1200 Lt?

  • @hyboost I agree. But I switched to Suzuki Boulevard after having to constantly dump money into Harley's just to keep them running. I had 5 Harley's and everyone had factory defects. Motor, trans, electrical. I've had the Boulevard for 3 years with no problems. (Except the deer incident.......)

  • Harley's are for attention whores and Viagra.
