When Mrs. Warren becomes worried about her lodger, she seeks advice from a tenant at her friend Mrs. Hudson's house, 221B Baker Street -- the famous sleuth Sherlock Holmes! He and his sidekick Dr. Watson decide to investigate the Italian man who's kept himself behind closed doors for 2 weeks. They discover that a man who once lived at Mrs. Warren's boarding house has been killed. He was found with his throat cut, and a red circle had been drawn on the wall. Holmes suspects a link between the two men and a secret political society called the Red Circle. ----

The definitive Holmes even better than Rathbone, but the series was great with Watson portrayed in the manner he should be not asa bumbling idiot, that is not to downgrade Nigel Bruce but this is a more true to form portrayal of Holmes and Watson.

I absolutely love Sherlock Holmes; I’m reading the Complete Sherlock Holmes book. He is a fascinating and intelligent character. I love the mystery behind the cases he solves.

Arthur Conan Doyle, Edgar Wallace, Quentin Patrick have all written book called Red circle I have read all of them, but plot was totally differend in all of them.. Amazing coincidence!
