Kline Confronted For Refusing To Hold Town Hall!!!

What could be worse than being yelled down at a town hall meeting? Getting yelled down for not holding a town hall meeting, of course!

Rep. John Kline was confronted at the Minnesota State Fair by two of his constituents. The two men appeared to be angry about the Congressman's flat refusal to hold town hall meetings in his district. Kline was in the middle of a live interview on the Twin Cities Christian radio station KKMS.

Recently Rep. Tim Walz sent an invitation to Kline asking if he would be willing to hold a joint town hall meeting. Rep. Kline responded, declining the invitation and calling it a stunt.

Rep. Kline doesnt have ANY town halls scheduled in his district. The last time he held one was back in 2007 and his constituents had to petition him (700 signatures!!!) to even get that far.

This raises one big question: Why wont Rep. John Kline hold a town hall meeting? What's he so afraid of?

Your right, and that care is already paid for (though no one wants us to know that). That's why when I was in the hospital my insulin was $80 a unit, when I can buy it myself for $40 to $60 per 1000 units.

I'm not judging whether the costs are good or bad. I'm glad I can walk into an ER and not be denied treatment due to the lack of money.

And yes, I realize it's law.

I read a little about modernized oaths when I had to look up the spelling of "hippocratic" in order to type it above. It is an interesting fact, as you put it, though. Thank you. But the fact I am pointing out, which still stands, is that emergency rooms intend to service all those in need of emergency service, regardless of ability to pay. I frequently visit local emergency rooms with my work, and I have NEVER been to one which did not have a sign on the wall clearly stating this.

Doctors no longer take the Hippocratic Oath, and those that do take a highly modified version. Some even write their own "oath".

Rush is the pill popper, remember? ... I don't know why Obama et al. are so vague when they try to engage debate about this, when the fundamentals of this are so simple. YOU ARE ALREADY PAYING FOR THIS. Doctors take a Hippocratic Oath to provide medical care. When a poor person goes to the emergency room because of a common ailment that has compounded because of lack of basic treatment, THEY GET EMERGENCY SERVICE. EMERGENCY SERVICE IS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. Healthcare reform is an economic issue.
