This is an omnidirectional (holonomic) robot, aka Killough Platform.
It can drive in any direction without changing heading, turn while driving,
spin while moving straight.
It has many sensors, such as a Cruzicore Gyro to estimate heading precisely, two bumpers, three sonars, and a color sensor. Of course, only four sensors at a time can be used.
The design is based on a robot by Xander Soldaat (http://botbench.com).
The robot uses three ROTACASTER omniwheels.
The source code is available as a library of LejOS 0.9,
and the instructions are available at http://robotics.benedettelli.com
