@Zavon415 I have only hooked it up to an 8 Track player. But, yes, you can hook it up to a computer too.

Hi, how do you program the bass notes to be what you want? For example I play a G and it plays whatever I want?

@ViolationFixation Hmm... I don't remember off the top of my head, but I've done it several times. There's a DVD tutorial you can get from Amazon.com. That helped me quite a bit. It will explain it. The thing that troubled me the most was getting drums to come out of one channel and bass out a separate channel. I eventually got it to happen.

@ViolationFixation As you build the patterns right next to the tempo display there's a "Key" display which is telling you the notes the bass is playing thru the song. even if the same pattern repeats the whole song, you can change chord progression with the pads in bass mode. This machine is so unbelievable that Boss hasn't come up with an updated version of it since 2004 because it's got everything u could imagine and then some. Boss/Roland are innovators.

@UnixStudios Yep- it's better than having a real drummer. It does exactly what you tell it to do. And it won't steal your girlfriend.
