  • "Well because we did the math...so we went back exactly, exactly 20 years."

There is a 30 year gap from 1955 to 1985. Basic math FAIL!

  • Wait a minute... Wait a minute, Doc! Are you telling me that you built a time machine.... out of a refrigerator?

  • Great scott!! lol..

  • @toddsmitts Thanks for all the info.

  • @kalimaganeshshivan (2/2) ...the Family Ties producers to let Michael make the movie. They agreed but it meant shooting around the show's schedule (Meredith Baxter was pregnant, so Michael was basically carrying the show). The Stolz/Fox debacle affected other roles: Melora Hardin (Jan on "The Office") was cast as Jennifer, but when Michael replaced Stoltz, she was too tall and recast with Claudia Wells. JJ Cohen was up for Biff but not tall enough next to Stolz and ended up part of Biff's gang.

  • @kalimaganeshshivan Michael was ALWAYS the first choice, but the Family Ties producers wouldn't let him do it, so they auditioned others. It came down to C. Thomas Howell and Eric Stoltz, and they cast the latter. After a few weeks, it became clear his performance wasn't bad, but didn't fit the movie Zemeckis was trying to make. Since the studio head had promised to let them recast if Stoltz didn't work out (because he was so sure that Stoltz was the right choice), they begged... (1/2)

  • @kalimaganeshshivan Tom's a nice guy, but I read somewhere he's starting to distance himself from the role(s) because he doesn't want to be pigeon-holed.

  • @rediamondrechef yeh i agree, she seems to look better now. Lea, in still hot.

  • Lea Thompson is sooooo damn f**n HOT!!

  • AND where's Crispin Glover?!

  • That should have had the guy who played Biff. He was the ultimate bad guy and did an excellent job playing the villain!

  • I didn't know Eric Stolz was originally suppose to be Marty McFly!
