Congratulations on joining the rest of the industrialized world. 2009 saw health care reform and the first african american president. It's nice to see the US growing up, gratz guys.

You can't compare this to car insurance. If you don't have a car, you don't have to have insurance. Health insurance will be mandatory if you're breathing.

This bill is not passed yet, we still need to get our senators to pass this landmark bill, and stop another 45,000 deaths from occuring this year due to the lack of healthcare reform!

It has'nt passed fully yet people we still have time it has to go to the Senate floor then the American people might get a say so in it but I believe the reconciliation rule or whatever it's call will make it so that Obama can by past the American people.. I'm not sure on the process but I believe we still have time a little window of hope.

Now it is in the Senate where it is being hung, drawn and quartered and rendered a useless piece of trash by idiots like Sen. Joseph Lieberman who has the insurance companies' dick up his ass. I wish we hadn't had to mollycoddle the Amen Hallelujahs with that abortion amendment though. There is already a law in place that federal funds cannot be used for abortions. I hope that gets taken out.

I heard the jail time accusation on cspan during the discussion of the house bill. Rep. Dan Lungren (R - California) stated this. when I read the bill, he was not being truthful. don't believe what people say. just read the bill when it comes out.

Also, if you can't pay taxes on time you are allowed to work out a payment schedule.
