For best HIGH QUALITY picture and STEREO sound click on the following blue URL link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgou7N... I've been meaning to upload this song since November last year, but I've had a heck of a time to sort out some clips/pics to go along with it. And when I finally decided on making a tribute to Marilyn Monroe for the video I ended up with a video that was twice as long as the actual song (new as I was to making videos)!! And after that mishap it's just been 'gathering dust' inside the comp, until I app. a month ago decided to do something about it, at last! However, instead of starting all over again editing clips and pics (which can be very time consuming, ask my friend Erik Adelfred!)) I made it rather easy for myself by actually taking the almost 8 minutes long original video I had already made and cut it down in size to fit the length of the actual song it was supposed to 'team up' with. Normally you make a back-up of the work you've done, whether it be music, films, videos, or whatever, which makes it a whole lot easier to go back and change parts anyway you like at a later date, but new as I was to this medium (I've never made a video in my entire life before late November/December last year!), I forgot to make a back-up so all I had was this almost 8 minutes long song already 'loaded' to one of the HDD's. This meant that I unintentionally winded up with a pretty bad picture quality, as I had to do yet another copy of the final song (aka the one you're hopefully just listening to). The sound is pretty OK, as I always use the .WAV format instead of the compressed MP3 dito, but the graphics ain't exactly the greatest around, which is a pity, indeed, as it would've been nice to've had some really nice, clear shots of M.M. to work with! But there you are. Hope you like it anyway. The recording was originally made sometime in the mid-'70s, but just about the only thing that's left of it as far as the original version is concerned is the vocal, cause I erased most of the original backing in the '80s and made up a totally different one that includes both a doghouse bass and strings (I can just hear the entire rock'n roll community frown in dispair, lol!) as well as a new rhythm guitar part! So if you've already heard the original version from some of the old LP's it's been featured on, you will hardly recognise this version. But, what the heck, worse things has happened to this crumpy old planet, so hum along and try to ignore the eventual descripencies (?)! You've got M.M. to look at so why worry about the music! Clicking on the blue URL link is a must again, I'm afraid, cause otherwise the picture quality will look even more messy and that's real bad on one of the most breathtaking women in cinema and 'real life' ever!! May she always be remembered!!

One of the best songs ever !!! I have several LP's from HCB and i've seen some Rockabilly Legends but i'm very sorry that i never met him live. Go on ........Rock`n`Roll
What a beautiful video, featuring such a beautiful woman....and so sad.....she had so much more to offer and a life which could have got happier,if she had been allowed to live longer. Somebody has a lot to answer for.
This is a wonderful video, Hank. I know you're not happy with the quality of the MM pics, but really, they are good enough to tell the story and "get the picture". The song is great. The whisling is a nice touch too.
I love reading your comments, Jan (who wouldn't!)! They're so inspiring that I often end up doing a few 'licks' on the nearest guitar after reading 'em!! This is a special track to me! And the fact of the matter is that the lyrics to it came to me like served on a silver plate! Took me probably not more than an hour to get it all down and that's fast even by my standards (I normally write songs extremely fast, I have to before I forget what I was thinking about, LOL!!). Love, Hank...
Thanks Loretta! You're not so bad yourself, you know, loool! Have a bunch of new songs that I'm trying to put together if my damn comp let me (it's been acting funny ever since I had that HD crash just before Easter, so who knows what this will lead to!). Are you still active on YT, by the way? I strolled down to your channel & it seemed kinda 'down', if you get what I mean. Hope you havn't left us? I for one would shed a tear or two if that's the case! Hugs, Hank C.
