  • Thank you MrFallen66, i love this dance floor filler, i have played this tune first time in europe in one of my dJ sessions in belgium and germany 25 years ago

  • Carter and Sandborn used to play this on the Friday show on Power 99 in philly.

  • Hi, Thank you for you Comment. What kind Radio is that? a 50s Radio Show?

  • No it was actually a hip-hop station believe it or not. But this song just congers up memories of going to school on Friday morn.

  • How cool & crazy is that :) What a great Story, but you know what this Song is also very special for me, I've heard this Song 24 Years together with a nice Teeange Love Girl on the Dance floor first time and I had no Idea the Story from this Song ;)

  • Heard this this morning on WBGO. So glad that I found it!

  • LaVay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers actually do this better!

  • Oh my!! Love this song!

  • Did Max Weinberg 7 do this on their first CD?

  • @Not2Shaby I remember that they used to play it! It was a good way to get Friday jumping along with James Brown's IT'S A NEW DAY!

  • Thanks for posting. King Records released an album in the early 70s called "Risky Blues" that had this one along with "Big Ten Inch Record," "Keep On Churnin' (Til The Butter Comes,." and "It Ain't The Meat (It's The Motion)," all the great stuff that pissed off parents and influenced the birth of Rock & Roll.

  • Yers ago Rhino put this out as part of a CD Compilation called Risque Records
