  • Dylan is one of the few reporters that actually holds *some* credibility with me. He is still beholden to a higher power (his many bosses), but at least he tries.

  • so we just realized that market is obviously corrupt? that the only people that make money are the ones who are ALWAYS in the know?

  • No wonder e-trade day trading didn't work too well. I was playing against a computer. I'm going back to playing chess against my computer. At least my chances are better and it doesn't cost. hahahahahahah

  • It's amazing he's still got a show with Truth like that.

  • @dontblockmedk Is your rudeness is an example of how you imagine "We" can produce many multiples...than we need? Apparently there's no room for cooperative disagreement and varying approaches. You seem to think the only possibility is some collective effort in which "we" all march in lock step toward a land of plenty.

You are spouting wishful air based on no historic facts. It is always the enterprise and creativity of individuals cooperating and innovating that advances general welfare.

  • @l You are so ignorant. It isn't capitalism that brings a high standard of living and communism that causes all the starvation. IT IS EMPIRE that does BOTH those things.

What I am talking about is the OPPOSITE. You say 'no system can guarantee basic necessities', that is pure BS. We can produce many multiples more necessities than we need, so we CAN guarantee that.

Either prove that we don't have the resources and tech, or prove that some people don't deserve their share, or fuck off.

  • @dontblockmedk I answered those same q's in my last reply:

No system can guarantee basic necessities. Those that try hardest to enact guarantees have caused mass starvation (See Bolsheviks, Mao, North Korea, etc.)

Resources and tech are just tools. It takes individual action to use them beneficially. History clearly shows when resources are centralized they are wasted by cronyism and bureaucratic ineptitude.

Look to history. Which system brought the general standard of living highest?

  • @leafwatch . Can you answer these questions?

    1. Is the minimum requirement of whichever 'system' to make sure EVERY person has the basic necessities of life provided?

    2. Do we have the resources and technology to acheive #1 worldwide?

    3. Which system is best? And how do we get there?
