Definitely the closest thing New England has to a 'national' anthem. Everytime I hear it, it makes me so proud to be a New Englander.

This piece has inspired me and anchored me as a New Englander since first hearing it as background to an IMAX movie called "New England Time Capsule" at the Mugar Omni Theater in Boston many years ago. Great music.

yeah, "utube9000"--- written by John Williams (wow...and that was the first time it was mentioned here? Should be subject-headed "By John Williams" first and foremost, not 'just' "by Boston Pops"...) Nice collage...however....anyone want to post accompanying images of New England landmarks next time around?
