This woman is willfully ignorant--refusing to see beyond her narrow views & Pollyanna outlook. She says no child should be bullied at all--but gay kids ARE bullied, many times in the presence of teachers who do NOTHING. THAT'S why they need additional protections.
But since that hasn't been said from the pulpit of her church, she is unwilling to see it. She only parrots the sanctioned views of men who run her church. She was elected to represent ALL people-NOT just those who attend her church.

I don't think she's driven by hatred or insanity, so much as throughly muffled in a cloak of religious/zealotry-enforced ignorance. Nothing is true or counts unless it comes from her Bible. She (and a lot of other people) need to see a movie called "Zeitgeist", which is available to see online for free.
