@juarezrt no speed is to fast ;) unless of course you go fast enough to turn back time. that might not end well
-
no i dont think so. the japanese maglev can reach up to speeds of 581 kmh
-
I want those trains in Denmark!
-
Is this considered ludicrous speed?

The JR Maglev in Shanghai is a Transrapid system and as equally safe as the german system as it is the same.
What do they teach you?
-
it's german technology
-
German maglev has no wheels
-
doseiai-ur cool man..i like wat u said the owner of rolex gets the credit
-
There actually is take off and landing- there are wheels on the train that come down once the train slows down to about 100 kph. basically you have a take off and landing of one inch

Be nice people... it's Siemens Technology (out of Germany) purchased by the Chinese. I've ridden it several times, and it's FAST. 270 MPH -- and it covers something like 30 km in 7 minutes from the Pudong airport. I wish it went to the city center (and not the outskirts of Shanghai where you have to transfer to the Metro) but they are planning to extend it, and it's still an AWESOME achievement compared to George W. Bush's "Amtrak" way over in "Jesusland"

I've been on this train. In fact the ride is very smooth. Not scary at all.
