lol i guess it is just not your luck when eating it the ^^ good luck next time and I do have to admit that eating in Beijing is very very expensive. A 10-15ppl table can cost over 10thousand yuan of renminbi.

PEKING DUCK FTW!
actually, no. it was so expensive and i had a tummy ache before i even ate peking duck at beijing. After i ate it, i threw up and i wasted over 100 bucks worth of dinner! :(

ok this is SO not the typical Beijing dish
These are just for fun and interest, it cannot represent the food of Beijing.
Where is the Beijing Duck? The Imperial Fest? The Tea House? Etc.
So, apparently this reporter is at the wrong location.

This street is next to the most expensive shopping street in Beijing and is mainly just for tourists. In the US, we have fried snickers bars and anything else you can imagine on a stick available at the state fair every year, but you don't see people eating those on a regular basis. Same principal. No worries though, there is a McDonald's and KFC just around the corner.
You should stop talking about China's negatives, when you should be focusing on America's negatives. America is screwed up because of the white people who run the country. And to the people who complain about poor product quality, pet food poisoning, lead, etc., you get what you pay for because American companies pay so little to make the products, making the quality worse. It's not China, that makes the products so bad, it's the greediness of the Americans
