Part 2 of 2 The origins and history of Whare Tapere Waka Huia TVNZ 12 June 2011 In this episode Waka Huia will delve in to origins and history of Whare Tapere, pre-European pā based 'houses' of story telling, dance, music and games.
This documentary will also show how a group of Maori artists are striving to resurrect Whare Tapere to revive these traditional pastimes for future generations.
