Fabienne started her own business, Untanglemyweb.com, to bridge the gap between information and communication technology and small to medium tourism enterprises. Prior to this, she joined Gold Coast Tourism Corporation in October 2005 after two years overseas as sales and marketing manager in tourism property development.
At Gold Coast Tourism, Fabienne managed the Market Intelligence division, which overarched all business units within the company. The role involved developing and organising knowledge on existing and emerging markets. She also worked closely with the tourism industry - researching and implementing tools to track and forecast tourism visitation and yield.
Prior to specialising in tourism, Fabienne worked in the telecommunication industry as web content producer and is also a qualified trainer and teacher. Her technological background used in conjunction with her tourism expertise has allowed her to bring a unique perspective to replace the mainstream views.
