And Rugal's back for now. At least as an excuse to beat up someone voiced by Norio Wakamoto again.

Muteki's Johnny isn't so bad but it still has it's flaws. While Johnny does have the fastest tension pulse in Guilty Gear this shouldn't equate to him gaining tension at an insane rate just by attacking and walking in MUGEN. For those wondering what tension pulse is go visit the dustloop forums for a very detailed and lengthy description on it and other game mechanics in Guilty Gear that Muteki loves to ignore.

Also, while I realize that this version is based off of mainly Slash and #Reload, he should really consider changing the system over to Accent Core, I mean Jackhound was made into a Forcebreak for a very good reason.

Also, the mp3 plug-in for MUGEN sucks.

  • Surprisingly your plug-in came out better than when I used it but is it okay if I make a suggestion to solve your sound quality issues if there are any? If you record a fight without BGM and then add BGM in some video processor program like Windows Movie Maker it would help you a lot. On the battle... I've never played any GG before and despite that I was thinking Muteki's stuff may have been what everyone thought, accurate, but I guess my suspicion was right.

  • WMM tends to crash when I record Hi res stages and characters like this, even without sound. So for now I'm stuck just uploading as pure .AVIs

  • Meh, Dustloop forums. Buncha idiots using that numerical notation nonsense.

  • Unless you're referring to the fact that they use stuff like 236 to denote a QCF. Then that would be something I wouldn't even bother trying to argue against.

  • Thats what I'm referring to. QCF is so much easier to look at and know exactly what it is compared to 236 and any other motion out there. One of the reasons why I can't stand playing any "modern" fighting games because all the guides and faqs use that notation, along with the majority of the community.

  • I know what you mean, just imagine the horrible stream of numbers are for a pretzel command.

And what's stranger is that the command lists in game don't use numerical notation either.....

  • Oh, that must suck for you then. Uploading avi files are a torture (I've remembered I used to do that when I started recording videos) x_x

  • Some forums out there are nice enough to let you use directional input icons, but some people are too lazy to bother.

  • Same could be said about anyone who devotes decent time to creating an accurate and balanced Mugen character. :P

Also it makes more sense than an author who puts in his own unbalanced properties.

  • Very epic finish, well done with your Rugal there, That Johnny is pretty cruel as he gets going. But you've paid him his due with a thorough thrashing via your local Rugal Bernstein.
