"Therefore brethern, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, wheather by word, or epistle." (2 THES 2:15)

the Catholic church gave you the new testament.. you area an idiot..

Catholics don't pray to Mary as a diety, but as an intecessor, as Mother of Jesus.

Peace of Christ be with you all this easter weekend.

Malachi 1:11..That is a really nice prophetic scripture verse..

Apostles first preached orally the Gospel. Only in the second half of the first century did they write that stuff down. Then there were many false "gospels" and "scripture", so the council of Hippo was held at the end of fourth century, as well as the one in Carthage few years later (still fourth century). That's when the canon was determined by the Church according to the tradition, and apocrypha was discarded (deuterocanon is not apocrypha).

If you admit Mary is the Mother of Jesus, how is she not the Mother of God. Are you trying to say Christ is not Godl? It sounds like the devils got you tied up and ready for the fire. And where do I start with you on this praying to Mary crap? No one in the Catholic Church Prays to Mary, this just proves your complete ignorance to the faith. As far as The Blessed Mother being the queen of heaven start with Apocalypse 12:1-6 and if you still want to deny it get back to me and ill prove you wron

No one accepts the Bible on the authority of the Catholic church. Who are you trying to kid?
The books of the Bible weren't written by ANY Catholics, also, the accepted scriptures were pretty much standard fair by that time, they only tried to add their authority and make it official. As usual, they were trying to secure a power base.
Follow the Bible and not the traditions of men, the Bible has much to say about the traditions of men, and how they are ALWAYS wrong.
In Jesus,
Michael
I do not understand... Jesus died and then risen he still does not live on the cross. Mary was his phsyical Mother but not the mother of God. God was here before she was. The Eucurist is not the body of Christ. His body now sits at the right hand of God. I see alot of text writen by the Catholic church but what I want to see is where it says this in the Bible. Why do Catholics pray to Mary when it says in the Bible to pray to the Father thru the son? It says nothing about Mary.

It's been my experience that youtube debates do not go anywhere especially with people who have already made up their own mind. But, if you're really interested in finding out about how the Catholic is the church founded by Christ I'd recommend reading former protestants who converted like Scott Hahn, Jeff Cavins and Marcus Grodi.

Also I'll leave you with this to consider: Where is the table of contents in the Bible for the canon of the New Testament? You will not find it because it was not decided until the later part of the fourth century by the Bishops of the Catholic Church. So in effect you are accepting the Bible on the authority of the Catholic Church yet rejecting it's authority in all other areas. Not very logical if you really think about it. God bless you...

I should add that much of the testimony that the Church used to determine what writings were to be included in the New Testament came from the Church Fathers. The very Church Fathers that are qouted in this video regarding the Eucharist. If we can rely on their testimony about the scriptures we can rely on their unified testimony about the Holy sacrifce of the Mass and the Eucharist.
