Man, this video looks like it was made in the fucking 80s, its so difficult to find nice, decent, long videos about carbon nanotubes and other nanotech advances. You've got to have a bloody phd minimum to see any of this shit right now, and after you finish learning the whole world has changed and everything learned is useless. I can't find anything relating to 2010/2011 advances and ile never be able to get a job in this area, just a bleak hobby interest...
what is this carbon is good?? anyhow how do you get these to form long form tubes that can be used for something?? then what about weaving them??? how much has this tech improved since then?
What do you think of fire resistant property of diamond? It's the hardest material before CNT was discovered and it's made of carbon. Will it breaks down or burn in high temp? Not anywhere close to melting point of Titanium. CNT bonding between atom is stronger than diamond. It takes awful hi temp. to break down. CNT is not the same as charcoal only because it says carbon in the name.
alright that did sound pretty stupid, but what i meant was we wouldn't be so powerful as a species without science. and depending on how u define science, we'd be just chimps, hence not knowing "doomsday".
Heard of nanotube is believe to be the strongest material ever found, but exactly how strong compare to titanium alloy? I suppose it's fire resistance is pretty weak since it's carbon after all.

lol, I noticed that as well. I was half expecting him to shake his head back and forth in a "ah-HAH!" fashion as he walked away.

you wouldnt even know what doomsday is without science?? i think thats the point, not that im against science i just think you argue like an idiot
