A Love song from' Rural America written & peformed by' Larry Joe Cashen. I guess I was on a dirt road down through life. The material things I diden't have and' I diden't need anyway. I used to drive my old ton and a half log truck to the city park where I was a coach in the little league. I never felt low class or' out of place. I was always proud to be the son of a farmer of rural Appalachian. I always knew that somebody had to pull the plow and' milk don't come from the supermarket. The ones that don't have a clue is the ones I was always sorry for. I was tought that the' most important thing in life was' AIR FOOD and' WATER AND' THERE WAS ALWAYS PLENTY OF THAT WHERE i WAS RAISED.
