This is the 'Back to the Future The Ride' Mini Game from the horrible Universal Studios Theme Park game for the Nintendo GameCube.

The overall mini-game is okay, and it's the only reason why I picked up this whole title for $4 from my local GameStop. The voice of Biff is horrible, they don't even show him - they just show his shadow at the end in the car.

There's no sound-clips from the ride, or any of the movies. Just the music. The game is linear and there's not much else to do then hold down A and steer. It would have been nice to have some video or audio clips from the ride - but oh well. The game is sort of enjoyable (but badly done), more so if you're a big Back to the Future fan. It's easy to see why sales of the whole game didn't do well - since it's very boring and not well made. Too bad, this could have been quite fun if they did it right.

  • Thank god Telltales studios is making a good 'Back to the Future' game! Let's hope it's good, anything is better than this crappy minigame.

  • @powerbook86 its released but we can't even drive the DeLorean. We just control Marty and press some stuff.

  • @adliikhwan280 Yeah I know - I own it now. It's interesting, hopefully we'll get some action stages in future episodes. :)

  • The closest we have to the actual ride at Universals. I wonders who's idea was it to take it out from the park

  • @lukeskywalker7878 Actually the closest you can get to the ride is getting the new "Back to the Future" DVD that was re-released recently. The 1st movie has a bonus feature where it shows the video of the ride, it's pretty cool. Or you can wait until October for the Back to the Future 25th Anniversary Blu-Ray set, the extra will probably be on there as well.

  • You can't say "it's a fun game" and then call it "very boring and not well made."

  • @jooeys What I was trying to get across is that it would have been a fun mini game in concept, but they way it was presented sucked horribly. Everyone knows this whole game is horrible, but this one little mini-game is only enjoyable to Back to the Future fans.
