The Funky Avocado

I'm playing this Hedges' song on my Dad's 1970's Gibson J50 Deluxe. Very fun song to play. This is sorta what I picked up from the various live versions that I've heard.

How do you play that intro? When I play it it is the right fingering and frieght spot, but maybe the strumming is different? Yours and hedges sounds busyier than mine

It's too bad I didn't get my right hand into the frame for this one. I am doing a loose strum for the intro but i'm accenting certain parts of the rhythm by using more force with the right hand at certain points. I think that's what is giving it a bluesy feel that you mentioned.
