@atozinco, at the agency they are saying that they have received a letter from America from her Mum that states that she doesnt want to be her mother anymore and she is not coming back for her.
...and the conversation with the boy... they are basically talking about death and what happens after you die. the boy wants to die, because he's fed up with his life.

i will give u a detailed summary when i have more time- the agency lady just told lilya that her mother who left to the us with her lover in the beginning -promising to come after her in the future had just disowned her though it cvan not be made official she basically told her that lilya has to fend for herself from now on and has no guardian that cares for her thats y she burned the photo of her mom .

nonono, the real girl ws from Lithuania, but this girl in the movie, Oksana, is from Russia, she's born in St:Petersburg. And the did the film in Estonia. In Tallinn and Paldinski. You can search for pics from paldinsk and you will find this old building there, promise.
