You are wrong saying that Papa Jo Jones is forgotten. He is "Unforgettable"! and not only by real drummers but by ordinary jazz fans as well( me including).
Hi Frank - yes Papa Jo is one of the old timers that most people have forgotten about, like Frankie, but what an absolute Monster. A true Jazz legend.
