Alway been in love with this. Just imagine trying to turn Curtis into James Brown! Maybe thats why he topped himself?? But I know KOKO was on an Album the first time I saw it

Actually it is 'Interzone' by Joy Division, that this wonderful Nolan Porter tune was the influence for, from the same wonderful album as 'Shadowplay' (Unknown Pleasures), from dj TANK The MANC, in Royton

He was one of the foundations that built Northern Soul back in 69/70 -the new Northern Sound - modern and tinged with the likes of Southern Soul like Lee Dorsey . Without records like this the movement could not have progressed 6 years later at the Ritz and the Mecca !!
