This gongu hrolfur guy is described in a Icelandic saga from about 1200 as an Icelandic earl. Nothing about he invaded france and was nicknamed rollo.
Adalstef you are wrong. Dudo of St. Quentin, in his De moribus et actis primorum Normannorum ducum (Latin), tells of a powerful Danish nobleman at loggerheads with the king of Denmark, who had two sons, Gurim and Rollo; upon his death, Rollo was expelled and Gurim killed. William of Jumièges also mentions Rollo's prehistory in his Gesta Normannorum Ducum, but states that he was from the Danish town of Fakse.
Rollo or Göngu-Hrólfur was most likely norwegian. He was nick-named "walking- Hrólfur" because he had such long legs that he couldn´t ride the small northern horses. He invaided france where he got the name Rollo, likely because french couldn´t say Hrólfur so they said Rollo.

No, I think that you're reffering to the Jutes of Jutland. Anglo doesn't refer to a germanic tribe, I think. Saxon does however.
