Haha yeah it does sound pretty evil. Someone stole the cat, so yeah open downipe. I plan just to replace the entire exhaust with a OBX system off ebay. I've heard nothing but good things about that kit.
The MAF needs replaced, the IAC sticks, it needs a lower rad hose, a coolant temp sensor, and some body work. But hey, after all, it IS a yellow R. It's worth the time to get it back into shape.
