I did this once on a vw polo I used a 10 min realy so the engine would go off buy it self a 70 amp realy for the starter motor and 2 other realys for the ignition.
I was quite happy showing my mates I can remote start my car from 15 yards away.
I all so noticed in your video the button you pressed on the key fob one you used for starter motor you pressed it rather quickly to disengage the starter motor as I had the same problem my self.

wow how did they do that!
i had a mg metro turbo from 1991-1995,each time to start up, the choke had to be pulled out fully,unless hot,good car all the same, i did 80thou miles wore out 2 gearboxes,otherwise fine.
mitsibutshi were making cars that start by remote in 1994!!
