Because there's confusion, this is the overdub from 1963 by The Fireballs, from Buddy's original apartment tracks. David Box and the rest of the Crickets are not present (sadly, there's not a good quality video of their rendition on YouTube).

@grtas1 Agree 100% friend .. I grew up in the 60s and 70s and consider myself to be a progressive rock enthusiast .. however, I believe Holly would have gone on to become a much bigger and greater influence on music than Presley, and maybe even the Beatles. He was undoubtedly a unique talent.
