Bluebell Raillway 12 Feb 2011 part 3

Part 3 SE&CRs P class 0-6-0T No.178 & c class 0-6-0 No.592 plus SR E4 Radial Tank 0-6-2T No.473 'Birch Grove'. All shots are taken at Sheffield Park, and starts with the arrival of SE&CR P class 0-6-0T No.178, which is then seen running round its train and taking on water. There had been a points failure at Horsted Keynes and its 4:00pm departure was help up for 20 minutes, awaiting the arrival of delayed SE&CR C class 0-6-0 No.592 with a private charter. Then, having completed its duties, 592 under-takes a spot of shunting to collecion of SR class E4 Radial Tank 0-6-2T No.473 'Birch Grove' from the siding, where it had stood all day having a boiler wash-out, and finally returning the 0-6-2T to the engine shed.

I enjoyed watching this vid. I visited this railway a few days after you did this. Having come down from Durham for the ESNG mod rail exhibition at Redhill. Brings back good memories. Always a pleasure to watch. I hope to get all the way to East Grinstead next time I visit. Keep em' coming .....................
