Yoga Rave Vancouver '11

On December 9th, 400 Yogis came together, rolled out their mats and practiced together (with a whole lot of dancing and sweating). This event was inspired and led by our very special ambassador Gloria Latham from Semperviva.

So great to hear you would love to have this in the Orange County! All of our stores put on their own unqiue community events. So, stop by your local store and chat with them about holding an event like this. I'm sure they'd love to hear your suggestions.

Good question! I haven't heard if our Vancouver stores are planning another one this year, though definitely let your local store know you'd love to see another one. I've heard other stores creating their own events, so I'm sure we will see more come up at other locations.

I am a yoga teacher and practioner, not to mention I am very expressive and LOVE to dance!! I would defently hold one of these in MONTREAL...if only I knew where to start!! I can say I will never understand people who "hate" on things...if you don't like it, go somewhere else, no? and for those UPTIGHT yogi's, yoga is about finding yourself,coming together, balancing your inner and outer self.That's what they are doing!would love to host such an experienceMontrealers would have a BLAST!! Lululemon needs to have this class in one of their sweatshops in China. I think the kids there can benefit greatly from a party like this.

Hey, how can I find balance with my inner and outer self, with the knowledge that Lululemon uses child workers in their sweatshops in China? Should I just mentally "go somewhere else" and just ignore it, as per your advice?

How can i have a BLAST and ignore reality at the same time? I wish I had your insight.
