MTGCast gets a dev kit Xbox 360 freshly loaded with a preview copy of Duels of the Planeswalkers for the Xbox 360 Live Arcade! Check out a quick run-through of the basic design, game play, and how it differs slightly from paper magic. No fears, most combat tricks are still available, but the main change is that no ability to respond to damage on the stack.

  • I love this game.

  • It is a bit. Out of the 17 unlockable cards or whatever though I probably only added about 5. Most of the cards you unlock are the deck's 'gain health when you use a spell' cards. I guess the game expects you to stack them?

And yes the computer is extremely suspicious. Great draws all the time, never mana hungry, etc, etc.

  • Magic the gathering online is a computer game where you buy cards online and make your own decks and such. its actually pretty good. this game however is a waste of money unless you like NOT having the option to edit decks.

  • thats awful though, because if you just add cards to your deck without takeing other cards out (and not adding lands) then your deck becomes less efficient. Which will make you perform worse. Also has anyone else noticed that the computer opponents never get mana-screwed?

  • It's probably a bit late since you posted this a month ago but you *can* edit your deck, you just can't remove/change the core cards in it. So it's pretty much just an 'add on to a base' situation.

  • I would remove everything accept the trolls most likelly

  • they should have at least made the option to play full deck mode. Than again maybe thats what that unlock full game option meant.

  • no u cant eddit ur deck i dont think u can remove cards from it ether
