@leiefilm Nike originated in Greek mythology and is the goddess of victory. Your nike tennis shoe people got it from that. Also, the U.S. military in the late 40's 50's and 60's had a thing for naming various weapon systems after mythological figures. ei; Thor, Titan, Nike, Zeus, Jupiter, Ajax, Polaris.
