SHANTELLE - Love Attack (1985)

The extraordinary vocals of Shantel Baker (born Patricia Ann Baker) received widespread industry recognition with the release of her first 12-inch hit single, "Love Attack" which climbed the R&B Billboard Singles charts. Later that same year she recorded, "Running Around" under the name Trisha Monee. It was produced by Lewis Martinee, and became a crossover hit in the Latin market. In 1987 Shantel made national attention again with famous dance craze "The Glide" A video was produced and aired on B.E.T., Black Entertainment Television. The following year she recorded another single, "Crazy Over You". Other credits include, "vocals by Chantel" on the 1995 underground house record "Pain" by Fury (aka Funky Green Dogs) produced by Murk.
Most recently, she has traveled worldwide as the lead vocalist of the group "The Supremes Revue, featuring Shantel Baker"

Killer heavy beats and sublime synth sounds. Electro funk/Miami electro is where its at. I dont care for todays music they just cant touch this stuff. My faves include.
