I like both the Laurel and Cheryl versions of the group. Both are great in their own way.

Good version of this tune! Really faithful to the original Woody Herman version. Vocalese is rather difficult to do--it's hard to to make words with your mouth as quickly as a sax player can play. Just imagine if someone could improvise both coherent lyrics and melody to a song, rather than just put words to the melody and solos of an existing instrumental recording? We'd all go absolutely crazy for it! I'm not so crazy for the MT's dancing; feels what jazz isn't--really choreographed.

i had to sing this with only two days of preparation for an audition. it was ridiculous. also they are geniuses. like for reals.
