Roger Jackson tells Ada that the sky is the limit, and whatever the people want, they jump, is he clear? Ada tells him he's as clear as a Mexican jumping bean. Lorna arrives then in a slinky black dress, and Jackson tells her how lovely she looks. Lorna fills him in on the arrangements she made for his guests for the evening. Jackson tells Lorna her talents are wasted at D&M. Lorna says she likes working at D&M, but she always thought she was capable of more. Roger Jackson offers to train her to oversee a growing acquisition, including first-class travel with suitable companionship. Lorna tells him she's interested. Felicia and Jenna walk in then and see Lorna all over Roger Jackson. They promptly turn around and head back outside, where Jenna blows her stack about Lorna's actions. Felicia tries to defend Lorna to Jenna, saying Lorna has a good explanation for what she's doing. Dean arrives then and is surprised that Jenna is surprised that Lorna was all over Roger Jackson. Jenna says she thought Lorna had a shred of loyalty to Dean. Dean says he doesn't care what Lorna does, he has to find a way to get his tape past Roger Jackson and to Ada. Felicia volunteers to take care of that, and Dean and Jenna spy to make sure that Felicia's diversion is working. After Dean takes off to deliver his tape, Lorna comes outside and she and Jenna argue. Lorna asks Jenna why she's there, and Jenna gets angry at Lorna for fawning all over Roger Jackson. Lorna tells Jenna that what Jenna sees and what is actually going on are two different things. Jenna challenges Lorna to prove it. They're interrupted by the arrival of Roger's guests. When they're alone again, Jenna tells Lorna that Felicia has asked Jenna many times to be a sister to Lorna, but Jenna has realized that Lorna's not worth it. Lorna asks if Jenna wants to listen to her now. Jenna ignores Lorna and says Lorna is probably dating the man who killed their father. So much for family values. Felicia overhears this last accusation of Jenna's and is taken aback.

Jenna then goes off with Dean, and Felicia and Lorna go back inside the Paradise, where Felicia demands to know what's going on with Lorna and Roger Jackson, pointing out that even Lorna knows that Roger Jackson takes advantage of everyone. Lorna puts her mother off, saying she can't talk about it right now because she has a score to settle. Felicia won't let up and insists on knowing what's going on. Ada interrupts them then to tell them she's all set, and then asks to talk to Felicia alone, restaurant manager to restaurant manager. Before going off with Ada, Felicia tells Lorna that she is not finished with her. In a hilarious bit of imitation (I wonder if it was in the script, or if Alicia Coppola improvised this?), once Felicia's back is turned, Lorna makes the same face Felicia made and mouths "I'm not finished with you," then rolls her eyes. (This mother and daughter have come a long way already!) Roger Jackson then approaches Lorna and asks to talk to her outside alone. Felicia gets upset when she sees Lorna leaving with Roger Jackson. Ada tells Felicia to leave her alone. When Felicia says that Jackson could hurt Felicia, Ada replies not if Lorna hurts him first.

Outside, Roger invites Lorna to join him at a weekend meeting in Palm Springs at a fancy hotel complete with a hot tub and a spectacular view. Lorna tells him he'll have to count her out for the weekend. When Roger says he doesn't understand, Lorna says that doing business with him is fine, but as far as anything else, frankly, Lorna thinks Roger is too old for her, like a father figure. When the confused Roger points out that Lorna has been coming on to him all night, Lorna, smiling the whole time, asks, "Have I? Or has it just been in your head? I mean, it couldn't be anyplace else, because as we all know, men start losing it sexually at around 19, so if that were gonna be the case, well, you haven't any left. See, I, on the other hand, am just hitting my stride. Next time, pick on someone your own age." Roger then asks Lorna just what her game is. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
