boniva is poison.... it has cause full body pain in my wife... it is very dangerous..... the american public is being dupped again....

My mother-in-law had been administered intravenous bisphosphonates by her doctor and she has been diagnoses with osteonecrosis of the jaw. And what really makes us upset is that her doctor didn't even entioned of any of side effects of boniva. Instead of healing patient they hart her really bad. She already had lost one tooth and the pain and decaying jaw bone.

Check out "jaw death!" I've just had to have a tooth extracted and needed a blood test in additon to signing a 3 page legal document of release - all because I have taken both Fosamax and Boniva! I am NO LONGER TAKING the drug! The dentist recommends an implant to replace the tooth.. No, I have not taken this drug by IV but I'm really searching for some answers before I sign another release.

The discrepancies between health care issues for men vs women is a horror. I witnessed my Moms Gyn dismiss her concerns about HRT for YEARS, before he finally listened to her and took her off of it. So many women (especially older women) are treated with a condescending and cavalier attitude for what are very valid concerns. It really bothers me. I am SO going to be flagged as 'difficult' as I get older:)

It's working now - check it out - saying that the pain and side effects are worth doctors taking notice. It's a vid BY the FDA. heh!

If you lie down in that first hour, the med could cause a side effect in your esophagus like burning into it... so don't lie down!!
