Picked up a 1916 SHtLE mk 3 yesterday and took it out today and was very impressed with it! Works like it was brand new! First time I have fired and owned one of these beasts and I garantee there will be more to come!!! Hooked!!

wow $80! I just bought a 1917 I paid 340 and the stock was cracked and missing some parts. What a deal trying to restore it right now. Love the rifle

I'm sorry, but the Lee enfield in all it's marks is a british design, replaced the Lee-Metford as the British and commonwealth general service rifle, the springfield however was the American bolt action rifle of the first world war and second.
