  • Roger, That is an awesome story, and agree, he totally comes across as a good person. Buena gente, as we say in Spanish. I'm glad you got a chance to experience building your own saddle under his guidance. Right on.

  • First time watching this and hearing your report. Great video work Reuben.

  • Salvador Gomez is a great person. I have had the chance to know him for quiet some years and the one thing I will always remember is that my father asked him to make some polinas for me, and he did and when we asked how much they were, he gave them to me as a gift

  • Salavador Gomez is not only a great custom

saddlemaker, but a wonderful human being. He allowed me to work with him while I recovered from a serious illness. I learned many things about the art of saddlemaking. And after many months and with his guidance I was able to make a saddle for myself. Although not perfect I'm very proud to say I made it with my own hands. The kindness and generosity of Salvador, his family, and staff will never be forgotten.
