I love the tempo! Renata never was my favorite soprano, as she did have vocal qualities that for me were sometimes difficult to listen to, but her dramatic artistry is up at the top. I don't think this is a mess...it was pretty damn moving. Brava!

Grande maestria e tecnica ferratissima, peccato non l'abbia passata alla sua allieva Netbreko, bella, specie se truccata ed abbigliata, ma definirla soprano é un azzardo.

Yes, and she always was. Unfortunately, she's mostly connected with her disasterous vocal decline. Her Sour Angelica and Desdemona are dramatically the best I've ever seen. She has some vocal qualities that were hard to hear for many people, but I can easily look past it. What a gifted artist.
