English is not the universal language, come to Spain (european country) and try to speak English with anyone, you'll see how I'm right. Try doing the same in an asian country, and all your faith will quickly fade out.

We should all learn a regular and non-national language as Esperanto.

Everyone keep their native language, and everybody studies Esperanto as a second language for 2 years (not more!). Then if you wish (and you'll wish) you learn other languages. =)

English the universal language? Don't make me laugh... English is the language of trade and capital in the foreign. The most important language? Lol. Most spoken language in Europe: French, German and Russian. Most spoken language in America: Spanish and Portuguesse. Most spoken language in Africa and Middle East: Arabic and Turkish. Most spoken language in Asia: Chinese, Hindu and Japanese. Most spoken language in Oceania: English and indigenous languages. Where is the revealance of English?

Everyone has to give his children more and more so that the humanity will get more and more good and clever..

Can you imagine how the world would seem if the christians wouldnt have destroyed the ancient greek culture?

All these languages(english,german etc) shouldnt exist..

As humans we have to do our best to give the humanity the best things..

We are speaking the simpliest language ever..

We are believing to the most stupid religions(islam,christian etc),which have NO LOGIC!

The only complaint that I have about English is it's ridiculous orthography. Otherwise, English is the simplest grammatically of all European languages.

@Tolisakis97 You do realize that about 2/3 of the very words you used are not Latin or Greek in origin ?, they are Anglo-Saxon in origin. You are right that English has incorporated alot of Latin and some Greek elements, but this is more a testament about the robustness and adaptability of the English language. English grammar is simpler than most European languages and that is a GOOD thing and not a bad thing for English to have gotten rid of useless complexities which plague other languages.

thats why its the global language..

with 300.000 words..

half greek and the rest latin..

instead of learning the best language(with best i mean the most difficult,a language that has over 5.000.000 words.a language that helps you not only to talk to each other but also to improve your way of thinking,a language that was the base of every language etc) we learn the simpliest one..
