lost me when you said Republicans are the same as Democrats. I'm afraid, from my very English perspective, I would beg to differ. No party or organisation is perfect, but I have never come across any party or organisation like the Republicans who actively belittles people with an education.

Personally I believe that religion is simply a manifestation of mans inability to accept death. All religions I have heard about features an "afterlife" in one form or another like Heaven/hell, Valhalla, Field of Reeds e.t.c. And also reincarnation featured in Hinduism, Jainism and Islam. All of this boils down to one thing: Eternal existence. Man has, and will always, fear death and therefore will attempt to elude it. I dont believe in afterlifes..after all every good book has to have an ending

I've got to disagree with you on the different types of governments statement. While Communism and Fascism function very similarly in practice, they are both inferior to a Constitutional Democratic Republic with regards to their reliably serving the interests of the general citizenry.

As for Dems vs GOP they are very different kinds of shitty, but you are right in that they are both ineffective at serving the needs of their constituencies.
